Glen Ellyn, Illinois — Rachel Bouman, CEO of The Leadership Companion, has been honored by Acquisition International (AI) as a recipient of their prestigious 2022 Most Influential Businesswoman Awards.
AI selected the top businesswomen from around the world. They carefully identify women to recognize based on merit, not on popularity or financial stature. In the end, they named Rachel Most Empowering Women’s Executive & Leadership Coach (Illinois).
“I am both elated and humbled to be selected for this award,” said Rachel. “In a year when a stroke nearly sidelined my business dreams, it is a true honor to be recognized as anything that describes me as most empowering, let alone the very thing I am most passionate about—being a women’s executive and leadership coach.”
Rachel started The Leadership Companion, wanting to give women leaders the confidence to pull a seat up to the table as their authentic selves. So many times in her career, she felt alone navigating a space where others told her that she was too much or not enough. When she finally let those voices go and tapped into her unique strengths, she found her power and became unstoppable. She longed to empower other women in the same way.
About The Leadership Companion: Rachel Bouman is the founder and CEO of The Leadership Companion, which is an executive and leadership coaching company based in the Chicago area and specializing in Strengths-based coaching as well as women-only mastermind groups.
